This post is setup for Clinton Massie’s 8th grade history classrooms, but we hope the resources and information can be helpful to all who view it. On April 18, 19, and 20th of 2024 the Clinton County History Center hosted a three-day display of Lincoln, Civil War, and Underground Railroad materials from the museum and research library. A few weeks later, we were invited to present to Ms. Kreider’s history classrooms on the subject. The information below is an expansion of what was featured onsite at the History Center and what was discussed at Clinton Massie for students to dive deeper into the subjects and local history as a whole.
