April 24 regular meeting:  Suzanne Madison will present “Little Gib from Port William”.  Gilbert Van Zandt became a drummer boy in the Union Army at age ten in 1862 and was with Sherman across Georgia and up through the Carolinas and finally was in the victory parade in Washington DC in 1865.

June 26 regular meeting: Patrick and Penny Thompson will tell us about Pat’s Smith family ancestors and specifically about John Quincy Smith who is probably the most important Clinton Countian that few of us have ever heard of. Farmer, Congressman, head of the Bureau of Indian Affairs; there is much to tell.
