Reopening To The Public

July 8, 2020 - July 10, 2020

The History Center will be reopening to the public on Wednesday, July 8 2020. This includes both the Genealogy Library and Museum.

Due to COVID-19, we will be requiring prescheduled appointments for both the Library and Museum. To schedule your appointment or tour please call our office at (937) 382-4684 or email [email protected]. Public hours are Wednesday – Friday 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Due to a lack of volunteers, Saturday public hours are temporarily unavailable.

Members of the History Center and Children 14/younger have free access to research or for tours. Non-member research and tour fees are $5 per person.

Please Note:

  • Facial coverings will be required when inside the building in order to protect our staff, artifacts, and at-risk volunteers.
  • Temperatures will be taken upon arrival. If you have a fever of 100.4+ you will be asked to reschedule.
  • You will be required to sign in upon arrival and sign out before departure for our records.
  • If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you reschedule your visit for a later date.
  • If you are uncomfortable with the facial requirement, we ask you to reschedule your visit for a later date when coverings are not required.
  • Available public hours include: Wednesday through Friday 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
    • Saturday hours are currently postponed due to a lack of volunteers.

The Clinton County History Center Board of Trustees and Staff thank you for your understanding and respect of these new procedures.
