Museum Day 2019

September 21, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

The Clinton Co. Historical Society is participating in Museum Day 2019. Join us September 21, 2019 for FREE entry into historic Rombach Place. Donations are always welcome. Thanks, Bob will also be shown on September 21, 2019 at the Clinton County History Center. Brooke Beam will discuss what it took to make the film a reality from 10:00-10:30 AM with a showing of the short film following. Event is FREE and open to the public.

Thanks, Bob provides a glimpse into past through Bob Cotner’s home videos from the early 1950s. Cotner, a Wilmington resident and owner of the Hale & Cotner Rexall Pharmacy, used his 16 MM camera to record family gatherings, an aerial tour of Clinton County, and scenes from the Wilmington Sesquicentennial. Cotner’s great-granddaughter, Brooke Beam, has digitized Cotner’s films and compares the vintage film to the modern scenes of the county in 2019.
