Research Library & Genealogy Resources
The Clinton County History Center maintains an extensive Research Library supporting genealogy, Clinton County history, and Quaker (Society of Friends) history. Whether you’re beginning your family history journey or working on advanced research, our collections and volunteers can help.
Policies
The Clinton County History Center research library maintains a comprehensive collection of genealogy materials. The archives also include photographs, scrapbooks, manuscripts, township ledgers, club and organization records, topical files, historic building information, and school, business, and church/meeting records.
These collections are intended to advance knowledge and may be made accessible to serious students and scholars for research. Access is secondary to preservation and is granted at the discretion of the executive director. To inquire about access, please contact the History Center by phone or email prior to your visit.
For research requests regarding Clinton County history (not related to genealogy), please contact the History Center at (937) 382-4684 or via email at info@clintoncountyhistory.org.
